Sellers

In the course of doing business with you, Nested collects the following information:

  • Your name, address, email addresses and telephone numbers.
  • Proof of address and identity, including copies of identity documents.
  • Information regarding the property you are selling, including photographs of it. In addition to the information you give us directly, we will also use information in the public domain and information provided by third parties to augment our understanding of your property.
  • Information concerning your ownership of the property.

Where you are party to the sale (e.g. a joint owner of the property), but not directly in contact with Nested, we may collect this information indirectly through our point of contact.

This information is used for the following purposes:

  • To allow us to manage our exposure to risk.
  • To allow us to fulfill our regulatory obligations, for example ‘Know Your Customer’ (KYC) and Anti Money Laundering (AML) regulation.

This information will be retained after your last interaction with Nested to ensure we can provide you with a seamless experience if you contact us for a future transaction. We may also send your marketing communication in the future for services we feel may be relevant to you, for example, if we have reason to believe that your circumstances have changed since our last contact or if we are able to offer new products we feel may be suited to your needs. This communication may be by email, telephone or post. We will always give you an opportunity to unsubscribe from further communication, and you may also unsubscribe by contacting help@nested.com. We may use data provided by TwentyCi Limited to determine whether your circumstances have changed, e.g. if your property goes under offer and is then returned to the market.

Our contract with you will include a clause asking for your consent to do this in certain cases, and in other cases we will always ask for your permission before passing on your details.

We may use other third parties from time to time where their services are required to assist with the provision of our services to you and the information is required by them to do so.
